在一篇阅读文章中看到如此一个句子：
A week later, came several visitors.
这应该算是一个倒装句，正常的句子应该是：
Several visitors came a week later.
因为把时间状语a week later 提到了句首，所以就用了倒装句，但为何这里要在谓语动词前加个逗号呢？是否应该去掉这个逗号才对呀！
▲为了维持句子平衡，有时将时间状语置于句首时，可以将不及物动词（譬如 come）置于主语之前，构成倒装句。如：
After the lightning came the thunder. 闪电过后就是打雷。
Then came the day of his exam. 接着他考试的那一天到了。
At last came the middle of August. 最后8月中旬到来了。
After the storm came a calm. 风暴过后，万籁俱寂。
In October came the first thin fall of snow. 十月小雪初飘。
Last came the procession of the coaches. 最后走过来的是教练员的队伍。
Soon came the order to start the general attack. 非常快下达了发起总攻的命令。
After the banquet came a firework display in the garden. 宴会后，花园里燃放了烟火。
On the day before we left home there came a snow storm. 在大家离家的前一天，下了一场暴风雪。
▲如此的倒装句原则上不需要逗号——所以你的句子最好去掉逗号（句子比较短，其实也不需要停顿）。但，有一种状况值得提一下，就是置于句首的是直接引语时，直接引语内的句子可以用逗号。如：
“No,” came the reply. 回答说“不”。
“This is the police,” came the amplified voice from the helicopter. “大家是警察，”直升机上传来扩音器中的声音。
He pushed a button on the intercom. “Yes?” came a voice. 他按了内部对讲机上的一个按钮。“有哪些事吗？”一个声音问道。
